The History of Vastiri and Balbala the Traitor

Hi Exiles.
So I was listening to the lore of the world and stumbled. The history of the Vastiri Desert

got many steps, thousends of years long with ice age, golden age and so on.
Shambrin was telling the story of
Spoiler
Balbala, who used a secret passage and so on. As punishment for her crimes, she was cursed and prisoned. More then thousend years ago, maybe 2 or 3.

Maybe Zarka just tells myths and storys. Maybe Shambrin does that too. But when in this over 300 generations worth of time, in this timeline did they build this gate and when did Balbala live?
How exactly does that fit? What did I miss? Where did my bad english miss information or maybe I just translated the story wrong. Can someone help me with that please? I would love to learn more about the lore of PoE. Thank you all in advance. Ok how long

are 304 generations? 9k? 15k? So the Maraketh lived for like 10k years in the now desert? Then it would fit.
