Resurrecting teammate during boss fights is damn near impossible

I like the challenge of boss fights and I love that they are tougher when I'm playing with a friend but when one of us dies....for the love of all that is holy, why does it take a whole 5 seconds to revive?? Not to mention trying to do that in what seems to be smaller boss arenas with tons of mechanics, AoE, minions and everything else that interrupts you if you're hit by them. 90% of my fights when one of us goes down has been the other playing trying to just stay alive and clutch the boss if we're lucky or just die also and we start over. So please do something with the revive mechanic...

Suggestions:

1. Allow downed player to revive on their own to last checkpoint
2. Reduce the time to revive teammate to half (2.5 seconds)
3. Let revive interaction accumulate so if interrupted it's not resetting for another 5 seconds
4. Give player temporary invulnerability during revive animation (or any animation especially activating switches but that's another issue).

This is my one negative so far with an already amazing game. Thank you for all the hard work and hope this is something devs will at least see and consider.
