No surround sound / 3D audio?

I have a 5.2.2 setup and noticed all audio comes from front speakers only, despite channels set to high and speakers in settings. Unusual for a modern PS5 game to not support surround sound these days, and it would greatly benefit this game to be able to hear the directions enemies are, not to mention the immersion factor.
