Act 3 Bog Witch and Chimera Too fast to do damage.
So far i have been able to make my way to act 3, but im finding myself at a HARD wall due to bosses that i think need some type of changes. The enemies themselves are alright enough to deal with, but these bosses in act 3 are just absolutely rawdogging my ass, specifically, the Bog Witch and the Chimera. I am playing a lightning gemling merc, and these two bosses WILL, NOT, STAY, STILL. The Chimera Flies, leaps and hops everywhere, the only times it stays still is when it is on the pillars, and even if i get hits off of it, it resists all elements, which negates my lightning, even with my penetration, so if im lucky, i get it down to half before i die. And the Bog witch…man. She flies around on her whole bone broom, filling the arena with bones, then when shes done with her 30 second flight, she starts putting really powerful runes that can kill me in two hits EXACTLY where i am in that very moment , and in very quick succession, then if i survive that, she just as quickly goes back to her zoomy bone broom mode, leaving no time to even try to BREAK her energy shield. Ive been able to persevere the bosses in act 1 and 2, but these bosses on 3 just feel way, way, WAY too much. Yes, i know, people have been able to beat these bosses with ease, primarily by using the many broken skill exploits, but with the character im trying to play, it just feels like an absolute slog to attempt, fail, grind, tweak gear, attempt, fail, rinse and repeat with bosses that rarely give me the time of day to even attempt to hit them

For the chimera fight you can destroy the pillars when it lands on them. If you do that it hard stuns the chimera and you can do mega damage to it. The fight became like 3x easier after I found out you can do that.
The bog witch you just need to keep damaging her until her broom breaks. Then she stops flying around and fights on the ground. |
