Map icons are not accessible
I'm really struggling to tell if I've achieved a map icon on the map. Sure it's sort of obvious if the icon is of the same type and both types are visible at the same time (ie, this skull is darker than this other skull that's lighter and it's not due to the background map colour), but if its a different icon (eg: a sack for tinker's tools), it's really just impossible to definitely say.
I went around that mine map about 4 times in Act 2 searching for tinker's tools, because the icon is definitely lighter than the darkened skull icon of a defeated boss - but I couldn't find them. Maybe I found them during a 2am run and don't recall. I don't know and the icon is not definitively telling me either way. Accessibility standards tell us we cannot only rely on tonal shifts or colour changes to communicate states, we also have to rely on distinct visual changes. Websites also include copy, but let's say we can do without that extra layer of semantic design. Solution: Consider adopting a tick, cross, stamp, medal, bloodstain... whatever, a small high contrast mark to indicate that a specific side quest has been completed that sits atop a darkened icon on the map. This way we can readily notice the difference and not spend time running around trying to achieve already fulfilled objectives. Thanks. Last bumped on Dec 10, 2024, 12:07:29 PM

Tinker's Tools specifically are bugged and doesn't drop so can't be completed, but I will second that the difference between the complete and incomplete icons is almost unintelligible. I keep having to look for others to see if they're active or dead comparatively.
