Suggestion: Change regal orb stack size for 'from shard to complete' from 10 to 5
First of all, love the game so far! Keep up the good work!
At the moment it is required to get 10 shards to get one regal (i.e. sell 10 rare items to get 1 rolling opportunity for a random stat on an item). I have heard people complaining about being gold-starved and crafting-resource starved quite often. I heard also suggestions to lower prices for items or lowering prices for respec or increasing drop rates (for crafting resources or items). However, I haven't heard yet this type of suggestion, so I decided to make it here. Having the stack size at 10 feels like I need to make a long-term commitment to either selling or breaking down items, whereas my needs are often short-term and I might get a drop that can render my long-term commitment to be redundant. At the start as a player I am gold starved, so I would naturally sell all rares and breakdown blues to try and either vendor some gear or transmute some drops. And then when I get 1-2 okay/good blues I flip the strat and start selling blues and breaking down rares. Now by the time I get 1 regal I find that there is something else I want to buy at vendor or respec... basically I become gold starved again and now I don't have resources to do anything. I also find it tedious to go into town very frequently just to vendor blues and rares. With this I find that in order to get a good "base" in order to have a smooth time with the game, I need to spend some time farming items just to vendor them to accumulate enough of a bank to make decisions comfortably as I go about playing the game, though regals are still the most annoying part about this. Therefore, I think by reducing the required stack size the game would become smoother for a lot of players, since now some of the commitments can be short-term and adjusted on the fly. This would also help with "pick everything up" type of behaviour due to which town trips are quite frequent, maybe players will start picking only rares and occasional blues that are item bases they are looking for.
