Initial painpoints in PoE2

After playing through the campaign and a little endgame I got the following notes.

Limited crafting;
You don't really do any crafting in the campaign besides transmute/augment/regal, you need Exalted Orbs and tons of them (3 for every succesful regal orb). A potential solution would be to add a exalted shard for disenchanting rares on top of regal shards. Right now you feel bad about spending your Exalted Orbs on gear, even though they are way more common than in PoE1.

The socket system is strictly worse than the benchcrafts you get in the campaign of PoE1. It is more prohibitive and harder to fix stuff on the fly like resists and attributes. A potential solution to this could be to remove the orbs that give sockets and make it cost gold at a vendor and be able to socket/unsocket runes for free and maybe add some attribute runes. You could even just have all items drop with maximum number of sockets, it would mean nothing in endgame and the world in campaign.

Town tedium;
After running out of inventory space or flasks, you portal back to town, and the order goes something like this: Identify-NPC -> Stash to grab transmutes/augments/regals to slam on white items you picked up -> Shop items if you leveled up -> Disenchant-NPC -> Salvage bench -> Stash again to store all shards -> Well to refill flasks -> back in portal.

This 7-8 step process each town visit quickly becomes tedious, there should be a way to cut down on this. Potential solutions could be to put the salvage bench, disenchant option and/or the identification button in the stash as well. Maybe combine some NPC functions and remove the well entirely. A "Loot filter" for vendors that highlights new items you have not seen before, and maybe a button to hide items you cannot equip or are X amount of attributes away from equipping.

Punishments;
Dying in normal non-boss areas just sucks. Uou are already set back so much, but respawning enemies just feels so bad. The new teleport to savepoints idea is great for maps, but the problem in the campaign is that there are not enough savepoints for that feature to really matter.

Dying in sanctum trials and having to redo a 10-15 minute snoozefest to get another try at a boss that have mechanics you can only learn by trial and error just feels too bad the first time. Potential solution is to save the amount of honor you enter the bossfight with and let players redo it from there or choose to start over.
