Major couch coop controller issue.
There are major issues in couch coop related to the game not recognizing player 2 initiated the menu/dialog, and the game just assumes player 1 clicked it.
For example: P2 pressed the options button on PS5, and he now click options to enter settings. P2 now no longer has control, as the game automatically assumes P1 entered settings. Even simpler: when P2 pressed a waypoint to see the map to travel, he can't do anything. Because control has been passed to player 1. And clicking a waypoint with player 1 then often doesn't work, assumably because he/she is to far from the actual waypoint. This bug comes back in lots of different situations. If P2 clicks the workbench to salvage gear, player 1's inventory shows up, and control is passed to player 1. So player 2 can't salvage anything. When P2 clicks the tribal/tribute thingy at the end of an event, control is passed to player 1. You need to go through all the code where dialogs/popups are entered, and ensure you give it to the player that actually clicked it. Last bumped on Dec 10, 2024, 9:11:54 AM

I agree, it happens all the time that the second player cannot interact with a lot of things, only the first player. It feels like no one has ever tested the game together.

It is also very annoying that while one player is selling things or interacting with the chest, the second player cannot do anything at this time and just waits
