The character is permanently stuck.

During the boss battle, I rolled into the following position where I couldn't move or use skills. Additionally, I was unable to return to the last checkpoint. A message indicated that returning is not allowed during boss fights.

The issue was resolved by using the team feature to move to a teammate's location.
