Unable to add curses to Blasphemy

Today I tried adding Blasphemy to my Monk build, but I was not able to socket Sniper's Mark to the sockets that are linked to Blasphemy. Has anyone else had this issue? Have I misunderstood how Blasphemy should work?

At least in PoE on I believe blasphemy is for hexes and marks are different from hex unfortunately check your tags.

Yes, I just realized this too. I was planning the build from a site that showed Snipers Mark as a curse, my bad
