[POE2] Campaing Feedback - locations are TOO HUGE
TLDR (details below)
- Bosses are amazing - Locations are too big First and foremost, thanks a lot GGG for putting your effort in this game. That's an amazing one! Bossing with pseudo-HC became really cool, challenging and interesting. The thing that concerns me the most is an actual location size in campaing. I've put a lot of time in POE1 and for me the location size seems to be TWO TIMES bigger than is should be. What I mean here. In POE2: - combat became slower - MS is less accessible - There's no phasing That means that it takes significantly more time to run through a location. Plus, you can't dodge combat. Most likely you're forced to fight all incoming monsters. And I began to feel BORED. IMO the locations are huge, and nothing challenging happens when you run through them. The execptions are rare/unique monsters, but mostly I'm bored to fight trash. For gigachads: I have pretty good build for the moment, with good AOE and bossing - I have no issues with clearing mobs except you need to run thorugh a giga location Hope this will be processed Last bumped on Dec 10, 2024, 5:11:47 AM

Locations can be ok if there return move speed and actual move skills which is good.
Oh, and dps. Seems I expect too much from poe2 😁 |

" I agree that locations are too big. sometimes I spend over 20m just woundering from pack to pack. however. this sense of emptyness was multuplayed by the low drop chance of meaningfull currency/rare items. this was patched with a restartless patch/update to the game. Or will be tommorow with an upcoming patch. I HIGHLY doubt movement gems will see a return, as the entire combat system was balanced around a much slower combat. the combanation of the slowness of combat and huge maps can be a serious hinder to the game in some cases. for example if you don't know you can get + movement speed on boots. new players will not know why their experience feels bad, wear veterns will not even think about suggesting that to a random player because it's "obvious". having an anti movement-imparingde debuffs charm is also quite helpful, as a lot of the game is based around deliberate movement. |
