Another (un)satifsfied customer.... POE2 feedback on day 4/5 of beta

As I love POE and I do really love the passion and work GGG put into making the best game of all times I am still trying out POE2, getting used to it and finding the fun in it.

First the pros:

> The world design/lore and the dark vibes are fantastic.
> The story is great, the soundwork even more so (as in POE1 tbh)
> All of the monster-design is really great. Some even dodge your attacks, move sideways and so on. The looks of all those mobs are beautifully detailed. Loving it.
> Bossfights mostly feel great.

Now the cons and the reason I couldn't find fun yet:

> Character progression in the acts are totally rng. I haven't had luck so I never had the feeling that I was blasing, always felt weaker than everything around me. And I tried all I could with the ressources I had.

> Not being able to choose one (linear) maplayout compared to POE feels so bad. Nearly all of them are mazes. This one is so basic to the core game.

> Mapping is painful due to the layouts and the need to always having to complete them if you want to progress.

> POE1 had the best endgamesystems of all games and the best ever made progressionsystems with the trees. Compare the trees and every single one in POE2 is worse. Skill tree: JUst... Why? You got so many experiance to make it great. Atlas tree? A bit too early to judge. But I liked the POE one very much, damn that is a great game after all.

> Ascending is a pain. You took two of the worse leagues, even forcing to play sanctum if you want to ascend in act2. 3rd Ascendency is pure pain the way it is balanced right now.

> Basic loot (time/reward) after all feels bad and I have the feeling this issn't easy fixable due to the points above


So. I am probably simply not your audience anymore. Will stay with GGG as long as they provide POE1 leagues for sure as I did in the past 10 years.

Damn, I even hate writing "POE1". That is the Original!
For me, personally, the best game ever made. And it is not the future.
