Targeting and Attack in place issues in PoE2
Hello!
Path Of exile 2 as of right now seems like a slower and more diffcult game. But half the battle is the freaking targeting system that you implemented. I am trying to leap forward, so I don't get swarmed but instead of leaping to were I have my mouse pointer the character is like " Nah mate, I won't let you control me so I am gonna leap ontop of a random mob 8 miles away from here" I am playing Earthquake and the idea behind the skill is to leave Jagged grounds behind.. They don't overlap so I have to attack around the boss or monster.. But there is times when I clearly have my pointer at the side of the monster but instead of attack there, my character keeps attack the mob or boss directly instead. Please let me disable this auto targeting system.. It feels horrible when I am not in control of my own character. Let's talk about Attack in Place.. I don't want to hold down shift everytime I want to attack. Just make it a interface option that lets you attack in place when you press the ability. Last bumped on Dec 25, 2024, 12:47:09 PM

This is a significant issue with Monk too. " You can already do that through the option within individual skills through the G screen. |

I run into this issue with every class that has some form of "ranged" ability. Witch, Monk, Ranger, Mercenary. It feels like there is a delay when moving my cursor over a group of enemies and the highlighted/targeted enemy.

Attack on place is available, click on the skil on the toolbar.
