Can't refund Ascendancy Points via Hooded One (Bug?) [SOLVED]

As the title says. The option to refund points via gold IS there but clicking on it does nothing. I'm unable to refund my ascendancy points. Points - not the ascendancy itself (Titan). I've tried switching between controller and keyboard to try to fix this but to no avail.

SOLUTION: If you're a Titan and have Colossal Capacity, empty your extra bag from Colossal Capacity AND restart the game. Credits to Spinya#0996 for figuring that out.

It is strange, I understand that as you get the cost of removing each point and it is also a higher amount than the normal points, it is possible that this is a bug.

They said several times that we can't respec ascendancy points, how are you surprised?

You totaly can respecc the points in your ascendancy class (and i did that ...) but you cant change your ascendancy class as a whole.

Are you trying to refund points that have something linked behind it maybe? (removing node 1+2 on a branch where you took 3+4 wont work obviously).

Something of the same, i used the Hooded One to refund skill points and i lost my 1 saved skill point.

I did this because, i had saved up my weapon set points to be used at a later time. When i did use those 4 weapon set points, my 1 saved skill point suddenly disappeared ? - anybody experiencing this ?

ok, let's say hypothetically you are Lvl 24 (4) with 4 unused weapon set points.
If you had allocated all points you should have 24 + (4x2) = 32

But what happened was that the total allocated points on the tree were = 31

So I'm in the Titan tree and I was trying to remove the Ascendancy Points starting with Colossal Capacity and moving towards the first node. It just makes a sound and then nothing.

Edit: I also have plenty of gold (29,748)

In my case it is the same, I have the same points assigned, and there are only 2, I have checked that the chest that is generated is empty, and it does not allow to return the points.

It is possible that it leaves but that this node is bugged by an interaction with the chest.

the feature to unspec these are not available. YOU CANNOT do it right now.

the problem only seems to occur with Colossal Capacity. My solution was to remove everything from the inventory, including the additional inventory. Then restart the game once. I was then able to remove the points. I hope that helps.

Empty the chest, restart the game, and i was able to respec the point.
