Body or Stun locking is out of control

I'm figured well I'm doing something wrong in the beginning about getting Stun lock by Mobs. I improve my evade and other skills. Make sure I'm not at a wall. But it still doesn't matter. This is like getting frozen constantly in D4. What is the purpose of the dodge roll if you can't roll out of a bad situation even when I'm at FULL health and Shield.

I'm not sure what you are shooting for in this game.

Having fun but it's getting frustrated and if this is an ARPG then I don't know.

I thought it was just a problem for me. It would be nice to at least get an indicator on the character.
