The first impression for poe 2 as a new player and a experienced poe player

From the experienced player's angle (Thanks for Deias shared her thinking with me):
Combat is phenomenal, graphics are great, when you actually get lucky enough to get gear it's awesome. But everything else? Man...
Currency rates are horrible, nowhere near what they told us it was.
The story and lore of PoE2 are a massive disappointment, it honestly feels like it wasn't even intended to be a PoE game with how far removed it is from everything in PoE1.
The environments are so lackluster and boring, I can remember every zone of every act in PoE1 from the moment I started playing, but PoE2 had an entire act that's just "sand, red sand, temple, darker temple" and none of it feels alive.
The world never changes from anything you do, ever. PoE1 you start having a visible impact upon the world as early as act 2, but here? Nothing. Nothing at all.
The gearing process is horrible. Nobody wants to farm campaign zones, that gameplay should be dead and left in the past with the 20+ year old game that started it. Neither should the solution be "check vendors every 10 minutes", that's bad gameplay.
The Trials are horrid. I'm a lab runner in PoE1, I legitimately set time aside to farm lab for fun every league. This is a terrible, awful, unbalanced replacement based on two different mechanics that I REALLY dislike from PoE1.
Beyond even like gameplay mechanics and such, there's so much missing or not working. I've found multiple passive wheels that just don't work at all. Not even because their weapon or whatever is implemented, they're just broken and do nothing! But also, why are there so many passive points for things that don't exist? Why are there a billion passive nodes to get to anything? I can get a notable in PoE1 at like level 5, why are they so far here?? Why are there soooo many dead ones (flask effect and duration for example by Ranger, THERES NO FLASKS TO USE THAT WITH)??

From the new player's angle(I just play poe a few months):
Played it 28h, lv 29 sorceress, act 2 - The spires of deshar, based on lightning damage playstyle.

I'm impressed by their amazing environmental art, but shocked by how terrible game system design they have done too.

1.The map is too big
Enemies must respawn after you resurrect on waypoint so I must take a long time to return to where I died. The punishment of dying on a map is even worse than poe because you may have to be slain again and again. After all, it's very easy to be surrounded by enemies. This problem is more obvious in Ogham farmlands, The manor ramparts, buried shrines, valley of the Titan, paths of the mourning and The spires of Deshar

2.The loot is too poor
I never see a lesser jeweller's orb (my friends said they got the first one in act 3), I never see a rare lightning wand, and zero currency for me to upgrade a normal item to a magic item/upgrade a magic item to a rare item, get 9 rare items in total during my playtime, the rare wand I get is lv 14 and I still can't find a better one (Get one increase lightning damage affix on my wand just 0% chance for me unfortunately in lv 1-lv 29)... But on the opposite, enemies are overwhelming.

3.Mods are annoying sometimes
The latest annoying enemies I met are hunins and brutalscalp. hunins are moved so fast and keep leaping to me, no attack time left for me and I'm too busy to evade their attack (especially the boss combat in Deshar). Brutalscalp is famous for her quick spear shoot and extra buff as a rare enemy (like a lightning aura, invulnerability aura or extra physical damage aura). With poor gears, enough damage to kill them by two shots is a valuable thing.

4.Lack of controller support let the experience become too tough
Move to act is the biggest feature in poe 2 and all boss combats are designed for that, which is a super cool thing, GGG designed a lot of advanced boss skills based on that. but on the other hand, it's hard for beginners in Action games to enjoy these epic combats because elemental skills which own higher DPS need a goal to cast and it's hard to balance the rhythm for pinning a target and dodging the boss's action. I hope controller support can be live as soon as possible.

Thanks for reading, poe 2 will be an amazing game after adjusting the drop rate of currency in act1-2 and rare gears in act 2! Looking forward to upcoming updates.
