Minions Beat Trial While Player is Dead

I died on the end boss of a trial playing minions. Noticed minions kept respawning, for giggles I saw how that resolved. Minions killed boss and the trial complete message repeatedly flashed while back at the beginning. Attempting to restart the trial crashed the game.
