Legacy of the Vaal Cruel post Doryani

I am unable to progress to the Endgame after the fight with Doryani. Quest states "Speak with Doryani in the Ziggurat Encampment" but when spoken to just gives his normal dialogue options.

Trust me, I spoke to him and even listened to his lore dialogue lol.

you need to talk to him in the past, just go through the portal

Welp, Hatsmo was right, lol.

It was odd that the game placed Doryani in the "present" time period. He even had the quest marker above him when I went to speak to him. Plus the quest indicates you need to speak to him at the ziggurat encampment which implies the present.

I think Doryani shouldn't appear in the present until after you complete the quest - that would solve the confusion so this doesn't happen to people on release.

but if i remember correctly, all the quest did was giving you a waystone.
and if you try to open a waystone in your hideout, it tells you to complete the story first.

all you need to do is doing a waystone using the map device in ziggurat refuge.

it doesnt complete the quest but after that you can open waystones in your hideout.

i tried talking to him in past and present and it didnt do anything.
its just bugged right now i guess.
