Locked out of getting one time items because of death at same time of boss. Will this be fixed?

A ton of people including myself died at the same time as killing geonor locking us out of the loot that dropped including an important green orb that gives chaos resistant. Is it going to be fixed so that we can redo the fight or are we permanently locked out of receiving this? If that isn't fixed that is insane.
