numerous 0xc0000005 errors

Since the hunting grounds I've had 9-10 different crashes for error 0xc0000005 in various maps through the end of act 1. sfc /scannow shows no errors. Processor is a 13700k, latest Nvidia drivers on a 4090. Last 3 are as follows:

Gonna go out on a limb here...

Half my 0xc05 issues (system wide, not PoE) have been from hardware.

Can you confirm your CPU isn't suffering from the widely reported issues?

PoE is the only game this happens on. I don't crash in any other game, and haven't since I built the rig. I did update the bios and chipset drivers a few months ago, but that would only help the issue.

I have the same issue. Only with POE2

Run command
powercfg -attributes SUB_PROCESSOR PERFBOOSTMODE -ATTRIB_HIDE
Show boost mode in powercfg.cpl (default windows GUI)for your CPU.
Or disable ALL kind of boost in uefi(bios).
If disabling boost fix your problem, this is definitely CPU failure.

If not, it maybe memory. Try disabling XMP.
Don't diag memory with windows memtest or old memtest86. Useless for new hardware if memory is not entirely dead.

The exception code 0xc0000005 means (Memory) Access Violation, look e.g. in Access Violation C0000005.
This is mostly a bug in the C or C++ source code (dangling pointer).

it is directly in the (Steam) client app of POE2.

GGG will automatically be informed about these crashes (after a restart of POE2).
