Sub accounts

With p.o.e2 launching I merged my steam account and other one. My issue is that I accidentally made and played a character on the account i didnt have my currency on, so i cant buy tabs and dont want to start a new character. Is there a way to fix this or do i need to start over on the sub account with the currency?
