Resistance penalty in endgame
I'm not sure if visual or not, but a day after finishing the acts, my resistances dropped by an additional 10%. If I go to act 3 Cruel, I have 81% fire resistance, but if I return to either my hideout or The Ziggurat Refuge (Endgame town) my fire resistance drops to 61%. I also tested in act 1 normal, my fire resistance is 131%, that means I have -70% resistances instead of -60% as it should've been.
This issue wasn't present for the first day in endgame, but today after I swapped around my gear, I've seen that I had 71% fire resistance, played like that for some time and suddenly it dropped to 61%. It's present for all resistances (not chaos), this was just an example of one of them. Just to add to the bug report here. I believe this stems from the bonus nodes in the Act maps that do not carry over after you leave an Act. I am unsure if this is intended so wanted to add.
Example: Sisters of Garukhan in Cruel Act 2 gives +10% cold resistance but if you leave Cruel Act 2 it goes away. |

" I just tested now taking into account what you said, one set of buffs is indeed broken, but not for everyone. If I unequip all my gear, in act 1 I have 20% resistances, while in maps I have -50%, meaning I'm missing 10% of each resistance but only in endgame zones. I also got a friend to test it and he has -40% resistances in maps with no gear equipped. This may have something to do with levels. I had a few gear piece ready for a change, resistance where good at 74 just farmed a few gold to respec, hit 75 in the meantime. When I equiped everything my resistance in hideout where off by about 10% on each, but not in maps. Resistance where good 20 min prior.

ele resist is a mess now for me too. every elemental resists are lowered by 10% in hideout compared to in map. wasn't like this few hrs ago. same set up and all. I mean what matters is in map yes but in hideout it needs to show the correct resist values too

" Indeed it's related to the tier of the maps you've last cleared, saw a post on reddit today addressing this, it's explained in the legend by pressing on the map node. So basically the resistances you get during campaign only help at the beginning of mapping. ![]() So in the end it's not a bug, this post can be closed. I believe it is still a bug.
Yes, 6-10 maps have a 10% penalty, and 11-16 maps have another 10%. However, I don't believe this penalty should carry outside of maps. Perhaps the way it is written is just not as clear as it should be. |
