Last gasp + cast on minion death bugged? or shouldnt work

I'm not sure, if last gasp and cast on minion death should work or no. Minions still die right? So it should work but for some reason COMD didnt trigger. Any thoughts?

Intended or not it feels like a bug since nothing says it shouldn't work, unless I'm blind.
