Siege Cascade (Crossbow T13 skill) either doesn't work properly or is so undertuned it feels bugged.
I was looking forward to this and Plasma Blast, but they've been very disappointing.
Siege Cascade, by the numbers, already looks severely undertuned, but it has even more issues. 1- I'm not sure the 2nd part of the skill even works. It's very hard to tell if there is even an explosion, and if there is, its damage is not even noticeable. 2- The targeting seems way off. Sometimes it will fire all 5 bolts at the same target, sometimes it will still only fire once even with multiple mobs where you click. Something is off. 3- The delay before it falls is so long, it will miss anything faster than a beach zombie. 4- The immobility gimmick is terrible with how hard it is to pin anything with a crossbow. Rip Ballista deals less damage over its full duration than a single default attack, so waiting for it to pin so you can land a single Siege Cascade, which will also do less damage than one basic attack... I will add that the skill also doesn't feel like an endgame skill, both for visuals and sound effects. Hailstorm looks way better, and also deals about 80x more damage. If GGG intends to buff weak skills before the holidays, this might very well be the worst skill in the entire game. Last bumped on Dec 13, 2024, 2:40:28 AM

Feel the same way brother I've tried all 3 of the final tier skills and was excited to get them but the animations and damage is very poor. I feel like siege cascade is like a crappy version of blast rain that just doesn't do anything. I've tried adding in with freeze skills it just terribe and looks bad. Plasma blast looks cool , but the slow while channeling is bad, then cluster grenades is worthless it should have been a ice grenade instead if you ask me.
