Guys, whats your PC specs to run PoE 2 smoothly (60fps) ?
So, I knew it was coming: poe2 kinda doesnt work on my computer. Yes, it have 5+ years old.
I have a Intel i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz / 16GB ram DDR3 / RX 570 4Gb. I can play the game with a average of 15/25fps which isn't fun. I am thinking in buy a new computer but I need some tips of which you guys have and IF the game is running all good for you on your specs. Plz share with me if you can your specs and if the game runs just fine on your setup!! thanks a lot My end, it justifies my means, All I ever do is delay, My every attempt to evade, The end of the road And my end.... 32 Gigs Ram Nvidia Geforce RTX 4700 Super 60fps and smooth sailing for me so far, I can run on High but I care more for performance so I turned everything down to medium, game still looks great and runs great as well.. In game since Minotaur League..

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7800x3d
GPU: RTX 4070ti super RAM: 32GB Disk: m.2 SSD @ 2k resolution on 27" screen Always above 100 fps, with exceptions on heaviest juiced maps, where any computer may struggle a bit. Tears make streams. Fish live in streams. I like fish.

Intel i9-14900F
GeForce RTX 4090 MSI Z790-P NVMe SSD (older Samsung EVO 970 Plus, I think) 64 GB RAM Clean installed Windows 10 (not 11). Updated graphics drivers etc. EDIT: I should add that I'm on a 360 Hz monitor (tri monitor setup), but have restricted the game to only run at 120 FPS without v-sync. No performance issues thus far. My most hated game. My most favorite game. Such is the duality of man. Last edited by Kraxiloth#7346 on Dec 9, 2024, 9:19:03 AM

13600k + 4070 Ti Super = 120+ steady fps on Vulkan. Had far worse performance on DX12 for some reason, so try changing or ensuring you're GPU is rendering using Vulkan.

On Laptop
CPU: AMD Ryzen 4800H (4,3 GHz, it's slightly overclocked by manufacturer as by default it's 4,2 GHz) GPU: Nvidia 1660TI Mobile RAM: 16GB (2x8GB 3200 MHz dual channel) I play on 1080p with Intel Xess (looks the best for me) upscale on ultra quality, DX12. Vulkan is better for me as it seems it's less taxing on CPU but it crashes game sometimes so I stick with DX12. Had to lower number of light sources to low so I can keep global illumination. Else doesn't matter as I am CPU bound so it's on high. FPS: smooth 60-75 with lots of minions and intensive fights and it's always CPU bottlenecked as GPU isn't sweating much. Some abilities like flamewall (I think most fire based) and lots of minions are really demanding on CPU. From my experience deadeye lightning rod+arrow builds are a lot less CPU intensive. I just finished a new build, but my previous build was running POE2 in 1440p at 90-120 FPS, graphics set to maximum. This is up to T2 maps, ive no idea how it would perform at higher tier maps where higher density of mobs can be expected.
The rig: -9900k (6 years old, no OC) -RTX 3080 (10GB, 4 years old) -2*16GB DDR4 3600MHz RAM -Cheapest generic m2 storage Havent tried the game with my new rig as GGG decided to destroy my character earlier this week so i uninstalled. |
