Option to remove Auto Aim with Mouse

The auto aiming, "snapping", to monsters as I'm shooting with my Merc has really been bugging me. It snaps at weird angles making me lose DPS when fighting either really big enemies or hordes of monsters.

Just now I've been fighting tons of tiny spiders and my character snaps his aim to the creatures at the sides of the horde so my wide attacks miss most of them.

Before this I was fighting a huge boss in a tiny arena and the auto aim made half of my shots miss when using any of the shotgun ammo types.

It also makes it incredibly hard to single out an enemy at a distance, since you have little control where your character actually aims.

I understand that this is very useful for some people, but an option to turn it off completely, so my character actually aims where my mouse is, would be great.

Speaking of which, another really annoying thing is that if you're fighting small enemies and you're up close, your character will aim directly down to the monster. This is fine normally, but if you have Piercing shots none of the other monsters will be hit, only the one tiny creature as your character is aiming straight down, making your piercing shot disappear into the ground.

100% agree.

Not only is it bad against mobs of enemies, there is at least one boss fight where I would like to aim at the torso and my aim is snapping to the hands, making my damage extremely unreliable.

I would much rather be in full control of where my character is aiming!

This is the boss I was talking about in my original post. When he was moving around it made my shots miss easily, and even when he was still the aim was so "unoptimised" that a lot of the fragments from my shotgun was missing, which I could not fix at all.
This same thing makes leap slam feel really weird, not letting my character jump exactly where I want to. Very dangerous sometimes, could get me killed.

Id appreciate an option to disable this selectively, next to "attack in place"
Ember Fusilage is one of these abilities that has been driving me a tad nuts when fighting bosses when i want to aim at the boss but it chooses random mobs instead.

Please soon add the option to remove this all together, i know this is Early Access so im just adding my feedback.

Great game so far, loving it :)
yes please... this is so annoying. I'm at a point where I might stop playing until they fix this. I keep dying in large packs cus the game wont let me hit my fking monk bell...
