Not being able to use 2 Mana Flasks

Why does this limitation exist?
Playing Acolyte of Chayula and going Mind over Matter - all damage goes on mana first Chaos Innoculation - life is set to 1 Eldritch Battery - all ES is converted to Mana I have no use for a Life Flask but I am forced to use it instead of a 2nd mana flask which would be very useful. I suppose players with Blood Magic are encountering the same issue being forced into playing with a mana flask? Yah, I just hit this wall... Using Blood Magic, now I don't even equip a mana potion. It's just there empty.
