Wrong character listed on website after new account creation

Hello, I am new to PoE, just started yesterday. I created an account on the website using my Steam credentials and when I log in there is a character listed that isn't mine, and my actual character isn't there. Please assist.

" Apparently, characters from POE2 doesn't appear on the website yet, only from POE1 for now. So it's normal that you don't see your actual character. Pardon my english, I'm French :p

Okay that makes sense. It's just odd that there's a character at all since i never played PoE before. Maybe it's just a placeholder. Thank you!
