PoE2 is not a League
I'm still not sure of the difficulty yet, I think after some time in end-game the second playthrough will naturally be faster with currency and gear available, so it's probably good. But...
It seems a lot of people, perhaps especially PoE1 fans, want to be blasting late end-game after a couple of days and raining shiny goods. I want the game to last, I want it to take time to learn the game. It needs to be difficult so we pay attention to the game's mechanics and learn. I think even the low drops is good, it makes you play the game and progress more thoughtfully and (again) learn the game. Maybe monster HP levels could drop a bit, just to keep the pace going, but don't reduce their damage. But, for the love of god please let the dodge roll phase. There is good challenge, then there is just frustration when the game needlessly takes away my agency. One other point, make exploring the levels more rewarding. Put gold treasure crates at dead ends, or uniques, or essences, etc. Just make it not a waste of walking and I'm good. Game is fun, I like exploring and killing, just give me a little more reward for it, please. In saying that, I'm actually finding going back to farm beaten areas is providing currency, but seems a lot of people aren't used to that idea, instead looking to a straight path to end-game.
