Path of Exile 2: Looting delay using a controller

Has anyone found a solution for the looting delay when playing PoE2 with an Xbox controller on PC? Right now, if I'm attacking enemies, I can’t pick up loot at the same time. As a result, by the time I finish fighting, the timer granting me exclusive rights to the dropped gear may have expired, allowing anyone else to snatch it. The same issue applies to opening chests mid-combat. Is there a setting or workaround that lets you loot or interact with items while actively engaged in combat using a controller?

This also happens to me on my Xbox Series X. I changed loot settings to permanent so i hope that fixes it for now.
I can confirm This is a major issue. All I'm trying to do is play the game and have fun I spend hours and hours in the game and then I finally get something to drop which rarely ever drops and some idiot takes it from me because I'm using controller on the computer. They really need to get this figured out because somebody's going to get angry and break something ;(
So frustrating.. had a Djinn Barya drop randomly yesterday and ended up dying before I could pick up.
Guys, the issue is that the game doesn’t automatically select the correct server for your region on consoles. Go to the map menu; in the top-right corner, you’ll see the region being used. If it’s not yours, go to the options menu and manually set your region. This will eliminate the controller delay.
If you turn the right stick towards the item you can interact with it even if there is monsters close
