Hex Blast and Whispers of Doom Issue

I don't know if it's been mentioned but after trying it out, it doesn't seem to deal additional damage for removing two curses at once. I had thought these two would pair quite nicely but it looks like that isn't the case, though maybe this is to do with Blasphemy itself?

If this isn't a bug, I'd opt that this should be something to consider.
