Where is the recovery?
I don't see any source of leech except for physical attacks, but there are a ton of nodes that improve leech effect? That makes no sense. Why improve something you have no access to. And there is no on hit recovery in the whole dex/int area of the tree which was one of the saving graces of that side of the tree in PoE 1. A complete lack of recovery from the tree plus nuked flask charges feels awful.

You can get it on gloves and on weapons and with body (life) and mind (mana) runes for weapons. Those are the three places I have seen it. You can get crazy amounts too. You just haven't found the mods/runes yet. Persistence WILL pay off.

" I don't think you read my post. Those are all for physical attacks. As in, attacks that deal physical damage. Which I, and most people playing monk, are not dealing. There is literally no leech for ele damage. There is a flat 5 life on hit mod, which is basically nothing, and actually nothing at all for mana. |

" I don't know about Monk specifically, but the Witch's Blood Mage ascendancy has Vitality Siphon - which leeches 10% of all spell damage. |

" You are right, I missed the word physical. Thanks for pointing that out. Have you tried to go for life regeneration and scale that up. You can get some pretty tasty nodes. In addition, you can supplement Vitality onto your primary persistent aura for percent. I've seen some good flat regen rolls appear on drops once you get to later game (aside from unique). Where there is not a path one way, there may 1-2 paths another way to accomplish the same thing. This is the way of PoE. For what it is worth, I am not happy about there being no base leech node on the tree either. I would much rather have a % of attack damage is leech node somewhere... Goodluck exile! |
