Toxic side of PoE Community / Gameplay

Hi, this is my second account, and I've been playing PoE since around 2014. This is the first time I've encountered the toxic side of the PoE community. Why are people who don't like something constantly attacked and insulted? Are you really that ignorant? You want your opinions to be respected, but you can't respect anyone else's. This game is not an ARPG or Hack and slash, no matter how hard you try to label it. I have no idea why they called this game Path of Exile 2, I wish it had been released with a different name and hadn't received so much backlash from PoE1 fans. The game is losing players every minute, please don't mention the player count on Steam. You're nerfing builds that people have invested time and currency into and calling this game "beta," what kind of beta is that? They should add difficulty levels to the game soon, so masochists can play on the hardest difficulty. I don't want to play.

PoE 2 is exactly that. It's the best ARPG ever made.

Unfortunately this is very normal. Support only removes certain things, despite the code of conduct stating:

Please do not:

● Make hateful or needlessly negative comments

● Discuss inflammatory topics, such as Politics or Religion

● Personally attack or cause harm to the reputation of others

● Antagonise others in an obnoxious manner

● Disrupt forum or chat use for others

● Reference explicit or illegal material

These forums are not very constructive for real discussion because of this. Too many trolls frequent these. I recognize the same trolls from league to league. They are allowed to behave this way, so they remain

Don't give up though, exile
I mean this the same community that attacked/bombarded Chris/Bex with death threats because of updates to the game they didn't like and been transphobic towards D4 players too. Just how most of the people here turned out eventually.
I gave out several keys to friends for the beta, 2 of them first time players. I would never recommend they come for any advice on the official path of exile forums because of the behavior I have witnessed, and am witnessing this weekend as well

I would recommend finding an outside community, like a streamer's community with players that are willing to help. You will become very tired fending off trolls on these forums

I see you've left a positive comment, thank you. It's really sad to see people become so toxic about a game.

People keep telling me to play Diablo 4, and I already do when the season starts. I've been playing PoE for years, so what's the connection? I simply don't want to play a game with masochistic difficulty. I believe the best solution is to have difficulty settings. Those who enjoy masochistic gameplay can stick to the hardest level. This reminds me of the early days of PoE1 Ruthless. Streamers and some players were thrilled about it, saying things like "if you don't like it, don't play," but a few weeks later, none of them were playing because it wasn't fun. It seems like PoE 2 is headed in the same direction.

its sunday.. the day known for people not working and sitting around the house

your "growth" is just because its sunday lol

the game IS losing players and know one has to prove anything to YOU.. they have the data on their end of how many people have made it X far into the game and stopped

they know how many deaths are happening in each act etc

they WILL have to fix the game.. because its a free game and they need to rely on people buying mtx's . which means they have to appeal to as many ppl as possible.. which by in large.. is casual players
