Performance issues in Mawdun Quarry

Not sure if anyone else has had this issue. Playing on a Series X and the game performance tanks so hard in the Quarry it renders the game almost unplayable. I noticed once I got to the caravan the game was struggling, but it got so much worse. Resetting does nothing. Any ideas?
