Multi account couch coop issue

Hi,

I saw in a recent developer announcement that it's possible to use multiple accounts for co-op play. However, when I tried to play co-op with my account and my friend's account, it didn't work as expected.

I logged in first, and my friend pressed the 2P join button in the character selection menu. However, he wasn't able to create a character on his account. Instead, he could only create a character under my account.

Is this feature not available yet? If not, when can we expect this issue to be resolved?

OP, I have inquired about this several times, including on "X" and have yet to receive a response.

I spent $60 twice (for me and son).

So far, I spent $60 too much.

I hope ggg will fix this bug soon.
But i’m not sure if they even recognize it 🥲

Wondering the same thing, hopefully we get an official response soon.
