POE 2 Ancient Ruin not completed in map

I finished this event in the cemetery of the Eternals but the icon of the quest is still active in the map. I did the quest twice. All the other icons are faded except this one.

So i figured it out, you have to take the ring to complete the task. Never crossed my mind to pick the ring up to be honest as i did not deem it worthy. Quest should finish on drop.
