Demon Form Crashes the Game Upon Activation

I ascended my Witch character and unlocked the Demon Form skill. Upon using it, the game immediately crashed. After restarting, I managed to move a few steps, but the game crashed again. On the third restart, I switched to the regular form, which caused another crash as soon as I activated it.

After restarting again, the game ran stably while in the regular form. However, attempting to switch back to Demon Form caused the game to crash once more.

Have you found a fix for this? I'm experiencing the same thing

I am still crashing in demon form every time.
