The secret to making this game feel easy
Is probably crowd control.
Ive noticed a lot of big complaints around around things like: - dying constantly - getting one shit - dodge roll doesnt really help enough Solution? Play cold sorc, Freeze everything, Only get one shot SOMETIMES due to laziness/impatience becuase you want to push thru mobs rather than kiting In all seriousness though, i think the dodge roll is a trap. We need other layers of defense from skills (things like walls, freeze, stun, minions) Because i can see how the game may feel brutally difficult if enemy mobs have full speed, and you take 5 attacks to kill things - and theyre all after you - time to kill is huge for safety and because its much lower now, we need ways to take pressure off of us so that we can actually dps Melee: feels terrible Ranged with no cc (like spark sorc/ranger): feels dangerous Spellcaster with minions/freeze: stand back while things die, and walk to dodge ranged attacks from off screen (which will probably kill you in 4-5 hits) Hopefully they pick up on the issues I dont think they should make the game less souls like, We should still be challenged Bit right now it feels like some classes/builds arent fun or effective EVEN when its a soulslike lover playing, and thats the problem. Maybe we can raise player damage slightly, increase monster damage but make dodge roll grant iframes, give melee classes built in damage reduction (auto fortify on hit with melee tag?)
