Poe2 Soft locked cant interact with First Ascendency alter

Hi, I was playing the first ascendency with friends. we failed a couple of times then split up group to do it solo. when we split a portal was permanently placed at the relic alter that i cant use. no matter what i do i cant touch the alter. i have relogged 6-7 times each time teleporting to a different location then logging out. I joined other groups, left, then logged out. and i have swapped acts swapped characters nothing works. please help

Here's how I fixed it because i was having the exact same issue. Go to a waypoint and click on the trial of the sekhemas node. That should open a darker map with another node that says trial of the sekhemas again. Click that node and you should be able to launch a new instance in the instance manager. Im on console so holding "A" for xbox allowed ne to open a new instance from the instance manager and then I could interact with the alter. Hope this helps.
