Hi there,
Just to clarify, if you have been gifted a key to redeem on Steam, you may need to confirm that this key was an Early Access Key and not a Client Key. By redeeming a Client Key, you are downloading the Client on the PC platform you have activated the key on. This key does not inherently grant your Path of Exile account Early Access. Players who purchase Early Access are given an Early Access Key alongside a Client Key, so it's possible you may have been given a Client Key instead of an Early Access Key. We apologise for this confusion. You can verify whether your Path of Exile account has been granted Early Access by navigating to our Early Access page on our website. Need help with anything? Please contact us at support@grindinggear.com for assistance. Last edited by Jarod_GGG#0000 on Dec 8, 2024, 12:30:15 PM

Hi Jarrod,
Why is this all so convoluted?? I purchased a supporter option, paid my money and received this below > -------------------------------------- My Account»Manage Account»Early Access Early Access Your account is eligible for Path of Exile 2 Early Access! Thank you for your (or your benevolent friend's) support! Your account will be allowed to log in and play during Path of Exile 2 Early Access. You can download and play on the standalone client once it becomes available. Your Early Access also includes keys to play on Steam or Epic which can be claimed below. For more details please check out the FAQ Path of Exile 2 Steam Client Key Third Party Key: 48F2B-DLPPR-xXXxx (marked out) This key can be redeemed on the Steam store. Please note this key only unlocks the client in your library, it will not provide early access to your account and should not be given away. -------------- So I cant believe that I purchased early access and now cannot seem to play it on neither my Steam account or from POE directly? How can this be fixed? Or have I forfeited my Supporter fee? How can I confirm? I look forward to your response. Thanks |

" They said you have the EA access on your account, so just install the Standalone or through Steam if you have it linked and you're good. It has nothing to do with the message posted by Jarrod. Pardon my english, I'm French :p
SSF for the win! |

" Hello, i am in the same case as OP. And i can confirm that my friend did indeed sent me an early access key, because if i try to get the early access package on steam, the store is warning me that i already own early access supporter pack. Either you have a miscommunication between steam and your services, or something is broken. I have been locked out of the early access, and unable to play with my friends for 5 days now, and still have no response from your part. I had an initial contact with your support by mail, although now i only get mailing daemon error. I really need some support here. |

Hi Jarrod, (and Lou Lou)
As mentioned previously, I used "the validation" key that was provided by POE to activate on Steam. I did this and the key enabled me to install all 87.9 Gb of the POE 2 game onto my PC. I also validated that it installed successfully. Good so far? Now I have a "game entry" showing POE 2 is one of my valid games. I also have a big green icon saying "Play me". So I have the game fully loaded on my PC. At this point I am assuming the link to my POE account is already in existence? (This was confirmed by an email I received asking me to OK on merging the TWO accounts??? When I hit the play icon, the GGG intro starts but its a bit crappy as its running in DX11 depracated mode (Another issue to be resolved) I then arrive at a web page asking me to logon to steam. WHen I do that, I get presented with an optioon to buy access or exit. Taking the option throws me back to Steam. That text also includes wording that says I DO NOT have early access and I need to purchase. So where and how do I achieve your suggestion to "run locally?" I am now so frustrated with this whole experiencw, Im happy to NOT use Steam at all, but your suggestion doesn't explain how I run locally? Some constructive help is what Im needing and so is the other person on this thread. Thanks PS: Can you confirm as far as Early Access Key or Client Key goes, I only received ONE key. It was the one supplied by POE and its in my messages log aand that is what I used to download POE 2. If there is a second key why did I not receive a second key fro POE? |

Hi I have the same problem, i have in my account message :
Your account will be allowed to log in and play during Path of Exile 2 Early Access. however i received only steam key and once installed it gives me message that i dont have early access key. Where do I find it? why it doesnt work? If its set up as that I need to purchase something else i want a refound for 30$ |

so long story short.. we paid for a key that will be available after early access ends .. but then the game will be free to play ..
