Questions about Poison and other degen?!?

Do Poison stacks like it does in POE 1 ? or it's just a single tick?

Based on the Tooltip, a monster can only have one poison on it by default. There is a support gem that gives you a second poison on a target (can be from a different source), multiple areas on the passive tree that give more poisons on a target, and at least the pathfinder ascendancy has something as well.
