Are they planning to send free keys to some veteran POE players?

I understand that they will need to monetize the game. I thought it was going to be free on 6th December which is not. I am unemployed currently and cutting back all cost. I disliked poe1 but poe2 looks superior compared to.

My question is will there be free keys given by GGG in the following months? or any invitation to the older players since this is like open beta sort of?

If you have accumalted a total of 480$ of lifetime purchases you will get a EA Key. If not you have to buy yourself a EA Key.

Time spent in the game does not fall into consideration.
If you cant buy the game at the moment, you only have two choices really

1. Be lucky and get a Code gifted from someone/ win a raffle on reddit/forum anywhere really.

2. Wait until the game goes out of EA in about 6-12 months.

How could you be a PoE veteran if you dislike PoE1?
I don't think veterans will like this game...
I don't, it's not the PoE spirit i know.

GGG targeted new audience for more money.
2 days and i wait the new PoE1 season...

Lots of assumptions combined with projections of personal opinions there. Been around since the closed beta - enjoying every second of PoE2.

I get that it's not for everyone though. I seriously hope they give PoE1 some proper attention alongside this new game. PoE2 is VERY different and 100% not for everyone.

The reason I disliked poe was my entire gameplay revolved around cluttered skill gems, fusing 6 link gear and too fast paced. I feel like they fixed all the issues above for poe2. I even like the slow movement speed since I own all Souls games + demon souls game. I feel like they nailed this since it reminds me of closed beta days of poe1 how difficult the game was in HC. Boss fights are also huge for me tbh, it's more important than running around with %200 mov speed and wiping everything with 1 button. I guess I wait for the launch

Personnaly, i'm sad...
I'll wait for PoE1 new season and see if PoE2 change in future but i don't think so. They made a choice.

You're right about 6 links, but it would be easy to find a solution rather than this system, i don't like it at all and i would prefer the old unperfect one, but i can understand your vision.
