Character stuck on distant realm

The character I made seems to be tight to the realm it was first created on. I am from the EU and now always connect to Texas US with this character. I set Amsterdam as preferred and created a new one, that one is connected to EU Amsterdam now but I would like my first character on that realm as well.

After the second character reached the town and some messing with parties the first character connects to EU Amsterdam as well now.
