Ascendency points refund?

Can you refund ascendency points? If so how do you do it?

I heard in an update cast that in the full game you will, you can see the gold costs even currently.
For now though I think they're permanent, so uh, don't make an oops |

You can respec ascendancy points. It will cost you the same amount of gold as respeccing 5 tree points. I just did this last night.
I have not tried running the trial again and seeing if you can respec actual ascendancy. |
