PoE 2 - act 2 Halani gates unable to progress

Leaving to town just before opening the second gate made the woman(didn't pay attention to her name) unable to move therefore unable to open the second gate.

Same here. Asala does not want to move after killing the elites in the south most corner, south of the second gate.

After that she just stands there.

EDIT: @OP, respawning at last chekcpoint helps. Press ESC and chose that option.

Same thing happened to me too, stefan's method fixed the bug.

I am in the same boat she says her voice line "hold them back while i open the gate" and just continues to follow me around and does not move to open the gate

I had this happen to me like two or three days after launch. I killed the miniboss in the zone and the girl that was following me to open the gates got stuck in the arena area and wouldn't move. I just waited until the zone reset and ignored the miniboss until the quest was done.

Go to the very front of the caravan and there use the horn
