Can we compare notes on PC-PSN Crossplay?

I've got a PC Account with a bunch of MTX and a lovingly handcrafted hideout. I also got a PS5 and was hoping to play on that machine rather than the PC.

I'm sure there are others who are in the same boat as me, I'd like to compare notes on the situation to learn more about it.

After adding your PSN account to PoE You've got 2 accounts. For simplicity’s sake, I'll call them A and B:

-A: Cross-play
-B: PSN only

Obviously, your PC invitation does not work for PSN. You have to buy one of the early access packages on the PSN store.

After buying that bundle, you run into the first brick wall: You cannot access your 300 coins. In order to claim your 300 coins, you have to do the following:

- Log into PoE 1 B account
- Go to the MTX ingame store
- Click on buy coins (sorry, I forgot how they call the ingame currency). -
- After that, your coins will show up. However:

Your coins are stuck in the B account. Even though you already spend your money with Sony, they still don't let you spend them on the A account. If you were interested in PC / PS5 crossplay, that currency is basically gone.

You can equip your MTX and stash tabs on your A account on PC (be aware that 95% of the MTX has not been implemented yet, which is totally fine IMO).

On Playstation, on your A account, you see your equipped MTX in the character select screen. It all gets disabled once you enter tue game.

The MTX remains equipped on your character. If you go back to PC, it's all there.

On Playstation, on your A account, you can see all your premium stash tabs. However, they become remove only.

I've got questions:

- What happens when I buy stuff on account A while on PSN?

- What happens when I buy stuff on Account A on PSN that I already own on PC?

- Can I even buy MTX on PSN account A or does it just vanish after buying it?

- Why am I not allowed to spend the 300 coins from buying PoE early acccess on PSN on my PoE A account?

I'm curious if anyone knows more. Overall, the whole crossplay situation is quite a mess in my humble opinion. You can tell that extra effort, actually programming time, went into making it worse for the players (i.e. your MTX being perfectly visible on character select while on PSN A account or your stash tabs being changed to remove only).

Wow, this is the first post I've seen about the whole cross progression thing. Crazy, I always thought MTX just got locked but everything else would be okay. I was hoping to use the 300 points to add a few qol tabs to my PSN account to do couch co-op and be able to continue my character on PC.

Oh it seems like my PSN character does show up on PC with my stash from my session on PS5. So it is only bought MTX that is limited. I feel better about that.
