Witch To Infernalist Build With Low Minions?

I'ma be honest, I saw the demon form and I wanted it REALLY Bad but not that big on minion gameplay. Is there any way I can go Witch -> infernalist with less minions? Is there even a viable build like that?

The 'prime' movements for Infernalist at the moment appear to involve minion gameplay however you could pump fire damage / resistance and life regen to offset the demonflame life cost ?

Hmmmmm, is there any builds guide up yet with something that's a little less reliant on minnions?

infernalist has high spirit but high spirit can always be substituted with something else

as example 2-3 auras /curseauras etc

so as long as you hafe abuild wich can profit big from that...

essence drain contagion works always and needs debuffs as example

Lvl 52 caster Infernalist here, yes it's extremely viable and I am cruising atm as Fire/Cold caster.

The biggest problem right now is Demon Form is bugged and you lose your weapons when it's active. Meaning unless you have terrible weapons, the benefits don't outweigh the downsides. So we're waiting for that to be fixed, right now I just have the fire dog.

Tips: Don't limit yourself to recommended gems, you can grab so much good stuff from Elemental/Sorc. Raging Spirits is INCREDIBLE early on, firewall and fireball just pop out a horde of them instantly.

I did frost as well as fire because of the benefits to defense/control. Frost Bomb is great, Frostbolt is good just to put chill everywhere, Frost Wall is *incredible* and along with Frost Bomb you will freeze anything.

I'm incredibly excited for fixed Demon Form because that is going to take the power of this character to a whole other level.
