PoE 2 - Account Suddenly Banned?

Not sure if anyone has had any issues, I just sent an email to support.
Was a level 38 monk, account was in good standing (hadn't played PoE 1 since like 2021), no 3rd party programs, toxicity in chat, exploits... Just good old fashion story grinding and lots of boss deaths. My account was suddenly banned in the middle of the Act 3 construct boss fight... was weird. Last bumped on Dec 10, 2024, 4:59:48 PM

That's strange, provided what you state is true. Did you chat a lot? Hopefully support can correct any glitch or give you the reason if it's a genuine ban.

Nope, maybe used chat 4 times to ask and answer questions. Guess it's not widespread, yea we'll see what they say.. hopefully tomorrow then :/
The one thing I did was I put in a support ticket yesterday because I didn't receive the unlock email code to login to my account... before I saw the announcement that things were delayed. Same, was also banned randomly questing in Act 3. The only thing i've typed in chat was questions. Have no idea why I would even be flagged at all for a ban. Haven't played PoE since 2013/2014 and that's how old this account is.
Emailed them aswell this morning and am waiting for a response. |

Someone got banned for asking, "What lvl are you" so there is something wrong for sure and yes that was the reasoning given in the ban notice.

Friend of mine had the exact same issue happen yesterday evening. He has sent an email to support and appealed the ban to ingame. I've also tried contacting support on his behalf and nothing, I've had nothing but positive experiences with support whenever I've had an issue (I've never had issues this serious tho), I really baffled that they haven't even responded yet.
On the disc there are several people hit by this issue. They still havent even acknowledged it, reddit is blocking any threads talking about ban issues as well. I sincerely hope this gets solved pretty soon, I'm usually very understanding but this is pretty unacceptable. |
