Regal orb drop rates

I’ve played through A1-2 with a few people and we loved the crafting in PoE2. We’re regularly finding orbs to take a gamble on a white or blue item. However, we hardly found any regal orbs, so we mostly end up simply using the few rare items we found, and crafting slowly became less and less useful.

From our experience, the drop rates can at least be doubled during A1-2. That still doesn’t give you enough to waste them, but that could be enough to build the habit of regularly crafting.

You 'only' get regals from regal shards which you get from disenchanting rare drops. Seems by design to me.

Yea. They specifically said they want players to manually slam gear as they level.

By mid Act2 all my gear was Rare. You don't really need gold for much. Buy a base and slam it.

Thing that's been hard for me is trying to get +1/2 Spells again since there's no alterations.
