Body blocking

If you gonna remove movement gems, atleast make bodyblocking not so annoying.
My suggestions is:
1) Provide gems such as Electrocuting arrow and Escape shot (gems, that involve aerial movement of character) a "ghost mode" for charater while it in the air. Being moved/pushed mid-jump looks ridiculously buggy.
2) Add character abbility to walk/roll out of bodyblock of a mobs, which significantly smaller than character itself.
3) Maybe add some upgrades to roll with jevels ?
4) No-collision for party members

None of that would matter anyway because once mobs get you jammed up.... you are permastunlocked.
A lot of people will not be used to fighting with body blocking, it takes a detox from games spoiling us in the past. If you are in a street fight, do you think you will just walk through people? It won't be an issue if you fight a bit more methodically.
I hate that playing with friends you can body block each other its so clunky to be in a narrow hall trying to back pedal running into your friends getting stuck not a fan at all. Try reviving a team mate its almost impossible to not get interrupted might as well not have the option , just isnt fun baited death trap goin for a rezz. Feels like group play is a second class citizen.

Well, i spent like 20 minutes being intentionaly bullied by Beetles and Scarabs in The Lost City to figure out was i stunlocked or body blocked. Id say it is 50/50.

We are not in a street fight, we are playing video games. Maybe then, using the analogy with a street fight, we will wait 2 real weeks for our character to recover?
What detox are we talking about? Although I agree that, unlike the first part, you can't go ahead leaving mountains of corpses, and almost every pack of mobs you need to move backwards running away from pursuit. But there is nothing complicated and skill-dependent in the fact that a fast group of mobs can appear and surround you. It turns out that the already cramped space becomes even cramped, because you can't go near the walls. And the ability to move does not help to move at the most necessary moment. This is more often random than player fault. Just like the camera in Souls-like

If dodging is going to be a core mechanic, it needs to allow you to pass through enemies/obstacles. Period, end of story.
Honestly, keep the body block.

In the time i played none of the deaths i had (except maybe ~2 lag spikes),it never felt like i had an unfair death. It always felt like skill issue.

But having a phasing like (high reseveration or high CD) skill or unique that allowed for phasing on a roll (with x amount of cd), would be nice still.

Something like a last attempt safety button.

However game is fine without it.

Well said - very brilliant analogy.

No wonder the dodge-dodge 5 minute dance appeals to the "skilled players" like you and is considered "challenging gamplay" (And not tedious)!

Apparently, everything is still ahead. You probably haven't had a situation where a mob runs at you, but doesn't stop upon impact, but drags you along with it to the wall, and at that time you can't move, and a second later its brothers have already surrounded you. "You should have dodged the first mob," someone will say. But this is not a duel against one opponent, there are a dozen of them, each with their own behavior.
